Tag's Hometown Bar & Grill - ML Edwards

I've been here multiple times now. I always get seated in a reasonable amount of time and they seem to always have good options on liquor. I've had different bartenders make drinks for me and they seem to be consistent with their quality and recipes. The food is always hot and delicious but Thursdays is Asian Fusion. That's one of the best times to go. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner will go around the restaurant and check on the guests to make sure they're good, but even the owner will help bus tables when it's very busy. Definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting something different with a good environment

It was sooooo freaking good oml went here for my birthday!

Good fresh food. Love the egg drop soup and gnocchi! Fresh salads. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We went to Asian Night and wow the mango fried rice beef lo me in was delicious! I love the pretzels and beer cheese! That is a craving! Service was great! Love the new updated digs also!

My husband and I were in town for a getaway. We went to dinner and then met the owner while checking out the downtown area. He mentioned he owned the place , so we decided to check it out . We went and had dessert and drinks . ( The churros was amazing ) It was a very cool place , with neat history. We wished we would have ate there for dinner instead honestly. The owner was very nice and our waitress was awesome ! We will def be back when we are in the area again . Highly recommend !

A great sports bar with excellent food and prices. We had the Cheese stake flatbread, wings and southwest bowl. All three were very good and very reasonable prices. They have daily happy hour reducing the already reasonable prices. Good service, great food, and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.

We were traveling home from our time in Grapevine for Spring Break and we stopped in this AMAZING restaurant!! Everything from the time we checked in to the time we left was absolutely PERFECT!! The wait staff was very honest about the food delay due to the busyness ( I believe I counted maybe 3-4 baseball teams today eating)and kept us informed the whole time. (The wait for our food wasn’t even that long). Every worker was well mannered and very helpful and respectful. Then we noticed a guy that was consistently walking around the entire time we was there and he was helping and cleaning and doing anything and everything he could to help. Naturally, we was curious so we asked if he was the owner and our waiter said yes sir BUT not only was he the owner, he was a retired NBA player and our little boy found out and wanted a picture so naturally we asked our waiter and the response he gave us just made the day and the entire trip. He said of course he would take a picture BUT, he just left a little while ago to go to the baseball field, now I’m not sure if he had a grandchild or any relatives playing or if he was just going to support the teams that are in his restaurant but no matter what he stopped and went. Definitely remember this place and will definitely visit again on our way to the Dallas area and on the way back!!

The philly cheesesteak on toasted roll, spicy chicken sandwich, loaded fries, burger was great, onion rings were hot and crunchy! Love the sliders with jalepeno jam!! The service was excellent, and the waiter was very attentive and efficient. The food came out very quickly.

Went back to MV and stopped to grab a bite at ML Edwards. It was a store when I was in high school and now it is a nice little restaurant. If you like a vintage atmosphere, you need to stop by. The service was good and the food was delicious. I got the fish (freshly fried catfish) and chips.
